Creatives Desperate Whispers
Coming up with an idea in an unexpected moment. Your shackles loosen, your chest swells with pride, and you feel as if you're above the clouds.

You tell yourself, "This is the idea that will change the world." You imagine the warm applause and blessings, envisioning your idea becoming a reality.

As time passes, you start taking steps toward reality, one step at a time. You begin consulting those around you, searching for the thread to help you turn your idea into a reality.  If fortune smiles upon you, you may encounter someone who genuinely believes you or at least pretends to do so.

You start implementing it, only to witness things turning out differently than you imagined. You see things going not as anticipated, and at that moment, you say to yourself, "What a mess!"

Those with experience whisper desperately to themselves, "Trust the process."

Here, you lose the passion, desire, hope, and all those clichéd words that urge us to continue. All you want is to reach the finish line. You work towards it with a solid desire to spit on your ideas and what caused them.

You experience a moment of great despair and complete frustration. Doubts creep in, questioning your abilities, skills, and even your very essence. You scrutinize all your failures and compare yourself to others, only to discover that you are lagging behind and immature.

The diligent are the ones who overcome this stage to reach the end, complete the work, and reap the final result. They regain their passion and ascend the stairs again towards the ecstasy of creativity.

This is the creative process in a nutshell: the extraordinary idea, the problematic beginning, doubting everything, and then rejoicing in the outcome. It is energy-draining, and it can take a part of you.

To all the creatives who feel connected to these feelings, you are not alone.
